METOLOSE^® products are water-soluble polymers, developed as derivatives of cellulose. METOLOSE^® is highly compatible with surfactants. When dissolved in water and organic solvents, METOLOSE^® creates a highly transparent and viscous liquid. It can improve the skin feeling upon use and create a fine/creamy foam while extending the time of foam retention. In addition to METOLOSE^®, the Shin-Etsu Group company, SE Tylose, produces Tylose^® products. Tylose^® offers a multitude of applications in the field of personal care. Tylose hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) is a widely used additive in the cosmetic field.
