Shin-Etsu PP film is hazy polypropylene film used for high voltage capacitors. We use carefully selected high-purity polypropylene resin and a bubble filming process that allows simultaneous biaxial orientation.The major feature of this film is its unique network structure with evenly distributed irregularities on the surface. This structure facilitates oil impregnation in the capacitor production and offers high reliability.
Shin-Etsu PP film is also used as a protective film, taking advantage of the releasability of OPP.
